The Cummings Building Trades Center is a nonprofit organization that provides after-school, year-round, project-based, pre-apprenticeship skills to mentor individuals with hands-on training in carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC especially disconnected youth between the ages of 16 to 19 years of age - specifically those in underserved communities- to have the opportunity to succeed as apprentices, journeymen, and union contractors in the building trades workforce sector.
